Behind the View

Behind The View is a casual restaurant and bar that begins the day as a café with specialty coffee and grab-and-go breakfast, then transitions to lunch and dinner service with a full bar. Featuring shareable plates and elevated comfort food, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy craft cocktails in a relaxed, social atmosphere. With harbor views and access to an outdoor veranda, the restaurant captures the waterfront charm of Harbor View Hotel. For over 130 years, island hospitality has shone through in every detail—guests come for the scenery, but it’s the memories made “Behind the View” that linger long after the last toast.

Table and bar seating is limited and is first-come, first-served, but there is plenty of room to enjoy a drink inside or outside on the veranda! We look forward to seeing you.
